Design & Set Up

For simple things like names or initials, I usually don't charge a design fee.
On the (extremely) rare occasion when someone provides artwork that is engraving ready, I usually don't charge a design fee.
When I have to retrace the artwork or design an original logo, I charge $50/hr.

Stock

Below are the items I regularly stock. If you want to provide the item to be engraved, this is usually not a problem.
The base prices include basic engraving on one side. "Basic Engraving" generally means 3" x 3" square area with a straightforward design like a monogram or name or insignia.

Pitcher
54 oz handmade glass pitcher.
Initially these were intended as an alternative for decanters as retirement gifts -- for spouses as well as servicemembers. However, they quickly became popular for housewarmings and promotions as well.

Presentation Bottle
Custom presentation bottles make a massive impact. And the great thing is that when the contents are gone, you can refill the bottle and use it again.

Vase
This is a heavy vase. Not for the faint of heart. It's decorative but not "fussy". As a vase snob, I have to say I love its all-around usefulness for most kinds of arrangements. Whether your recipient is a jeans and t-shirt type or has more than four pairs of black shoes, this vase is a winner.

When you send me your artwork, I will give you a fair estimate of how long it will take to make it engraving ready.
If you have someone who can do the work for you, I am more than happy to tell them exactly what is required for good artwork and what in format I need it. 
Pricing is based on what item is being engraved, how big the engraving space is and what kind of design work is needed.
Cussing is also a factor but we can get into that as needed.

Stainless Steel Cups & Bottles
These are Charlie Mike Engraving's bread and butter. Highly insulated tumblers, bottles and cups hold a satisfying amount of coffee/water/gin & tonic. Use them for a gift when someone transfers, as team builders for crews or as alternatives to commander coins

It is worth your time to contact me about swag for your event.
This is why: If you use my stock I have no minimums. You only have to buy what you need. I am happy to do only 10 glasses if that's all you need or 600. If you know you want 100 glasses and at the last minute you need 23 more, I can make it happen. No worries.
If you want 25 rocks glasses and 25 wine glasses; sure! Why not?
​And if you choose to special order glasses, you'll need to order by the case. This is usually not an issue.

Usually I charge the price of the glass + $5.25. This changes depending on the size of the engraving and any volunteers you might have available

They're all custom orders but every now and then I get some unique requests and they're a lot of fun.

Glasses
I especially enjoy sand carving glass. It's a satisfying job.
Each of these glasses is in stock as a rule. There are a wide range of prices and since sand carving looks pricey, even the least expensive glass makes a big impact.
